I went to Costco the other day to get some car wash ( Turtle Wax ICE ) and while I was there I saw this garage/canopy for sale ( 189.99 ) It was 20x10 and had 4 covered walls. So I bought it and put it at my Lil bros new house, because he has a detached garage and the previous owners turned it into a studio. I had to take the streets back to his house because I drove the BMW 335i coupe and the trunk would not close with the box. On the way home I saw this Z for sale, So we stopped and asked how much and what was wrong with it. The tells me that he had overheated 5 years ago and the car has been sitting since then. He had removed the engine to rebuild it but gave up on it, so its just a shell that for sale. The car has NO big dings or dents, I think 4 total dings on the entire car. The paint on the front half of the car is faded but I think I might be able to buff and polish it. Clean title and low miles ( 98k ) so I ask how much, we come to a agreement on price and now I have another Z.
Its a 1990 TT 5spd Red with Black interior that is very clean with the exception of the driver seat that is ripped where your butt goes but it might be able to be repaired, just the stitching is missing.
Ohh he also lost the keys to the car, But the key code was in the glove box and I got a key made already so everything is good.
Also the canopy in the photo is the one I got from Costco, I turned it sideways and instead of 1 car it fits 3 well kind of.
I buffed/polished part of the driver side, Dont have much time as I have alot of other projects. I will come back to this one in 2 or 3 months.
